How to file a notice
The fastest way:
Open the content (artist, release, or track) and click the Reportbutton. Choose “Copyright infringement (DMCA)” as the reason. Include enough detail for us to identify the work and your relationship to it.
Or email us at dmca@gainesvillejams.com with:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- A URL to the allegedly infringing content on Gainesville Jams.
- Your contact information (name, email, phone, address).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-notices
If your content was taken down and you believe the takedown was a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to dmca@gainesvillejams.com with the equivalent information and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant federal court.
Repeat infringers
Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing material will be terminated.
